After initial success with Evotherm, Lee Hy Paving converted all their plants to Evotherm in the fall of 2013, and they are happy they did. Their paving crews are finding the mix to have much more workability since the conversion. The same can be said for their private, FOB customers whose comments are very positive. When was the last time you heard comments like “this is the best mix (I) have seen”, “really rich in appearance”, "great workability”, and "don't change!” So far this year Lee Hy has observed a higher effective asphalt content when using Evotherm and was also to keep a plant open all winter for cold weather paving.
