Amidst all the booths at ConExpo last week, I stopped by iSqFt. The company is a database hub for numerous sources of construction plans, bids, project specs, and other data regarding a wide variety of construction projects (building, utility, transportation, etc.). Contract plans, project info, and bid info are accessible via their software and are compiled nightly from sources including their contractor membership, agencies, and the AGC. It is applicable to U.S. construction projects. I asked one of their national account managers to search "warm mix asphalt." For APRIL 2011 bids, their system brought up 122 bids with that phrase. Again that was 122 WMA bids just for April. Gonna be a busy spring…
