Ingevity receives 2021 Candidate Experience Award

PRESS RELEASE

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C., September 28, 2021  Ingevity Corporation announced that it received the Talent Board’s 2021 North American Candidate Experience Award (CandE) in recognition of high positive candidate ratings of the company’s talent recruitment practices. This is the fourth consecutive year Ingevity has won a Talent Board CandE Award.

Talent Board, a non-profit organization focused on the promotion and benchmark research of a quality candidate experience, has evaluated responses from over 1,200 global employers and over 1.25 million job seekers since 2011. 133 North American companies registered to participate in the 2021 program, which collected the thoughts and experiences of 152,000 job candidates. 65 companies were recognized with awards.

Winners of the CandE awards are identified through a comprehensive data analysis based on their job candidates’ satisfaction survey scores. Survey respondents include both candidates who were hired and not hired. The final analysis included four key questions that had a significant impact on determining the winners: the candidates’ overall ranking of their candidate experience, the likelihood that they would reapply to the organization, whether or not they would refer other job seekers to the organization and how the candidates would change their business relationship status with the organization going forward based on their experience.

Ingevity’s high ratings among candidates not hired into the company was lauded as indicating that personalized communications with candidates was successful in creating a more favorable experience.

Honorees will be recognized during the Talent Board’s 2021 CandE Awards virtual conference November 17-18, 2021.
