The plant has a multi-generational history, going back to the post-WWII era. What started as a family-owned business in 1946 to produce rosin and turpentine – has greatly expanded its capabilities over the years.
Today, Ingevity’s Deridder plant is a global supplier of over 100 performance chemicals, used in a wide variety of applications including asphalt, oilfield drilling, metalworking lubricants, adhesives, printing inks, paints and coatings, and papersize.
