Altapur® Hydro P-40
Altapur Hydro P-40 is a hydrotrope derived from tall oil fatty acids. It improves formulation stability of alkaline cleaners and degreasers. Altapur Hydro P-40 is compatible with most nonionic and anionic surfactants, phenolic disinfectants and terpenes.
Performance benefits include:
- Performs best in alkaline sodium or potassium neutralized systems where the formulation is pH 9 or higher
- A potassium salt with approximately 40% solids
- Provides foam
- Replaces SXS in most formulas
