Ingevity donates £5,000 to the St. Joseph’s Family Centre in Warrington through IngeviCares program

PRESS RELEASE

WARRINGTON, U.K., August 20, 2021 – Ingevity (NYSE: NGVT) announced a donation of £5,000 to the St. Joseph’s Family Centre in Warrington to help support core functions of the centre. St. Joseph’s was selected by Ingevity employees at the Warrington, United Kingdom plant who made the donation through the IngeviCares program that focuses on having a positive influence in local communities through charitable giving and community involvement.

Gary Rorke, safety, health and environment manager at Ingevity’s Warrington, U.K. facility, visited the center to present the donation. “As a member of the IngeviCares Charity Committee it is really pleasing to be able to support St. Joseph’s Family Centre,” said Gary. “They do great work for our local community through the many support services they offer, and it was rewarding to meet the team and see how this money will benefit the people it serves.”

St. Joseph’s Family Centre provides a range of services to support families and individuals living in Warrington and the surrounding area. The charity delivers an enhanced accredited Child Contact Service, counselling for both children and adults and Family Mediation. It also provides emergency welfare support to local families in the form of non-perishable food, toiletries, bedding and children’s clothing.

“We are really pleased to have been contacted by Ingevity and are very grateful for the kind donation of £5,000,” said St. Joseph’s Family Centre manager, Rosie Kyme-Wright. “Our Centre recently had the misfortune to experience some flooding in a much-needed donation storage area. The money from Ingevity will support us to undertake necessary repair and renovation work, including some future proofing in order to reduce the risk of further flooding.”

Ingevity’s Warrington, U.K. plant manufactures caprolactone monomer, polyols and thermoplastics with end use applications in resins, coatings, elastomers, adhesives and bioplastics. The plant has 140 employees and has been in operation since 1974.
