Ingevity’s Monica Ford named committee secretary of the Independent Lubricant Manufacturers Association

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C., Nov. 13, 2017 – Ingevity’s Monica Ford, Ph.D., senior surface scientist, lubricants and metalworking fluid additives, has been selected to serve as the secretary for the metalworking fluids committee of the Independent Lubricant Manufacturers Association (ILMA).
Ford’s term as secretary will run from 2017–2019, a role that leads to eventual terms as the vice chair and chair of ILMA’s metalworking fluids committee.
Ford supports technical efforts for the lubricants market at Ingevity and brings almost 10 years of technical experience to the ILMA metalworking fluids committee board.
“Monica brings a welcomed value to the metalworking fluids committee as a scientist with an ILMA supplier member company,” said Ann Ball of CIMCOOL Fluid Technology, incoming metalworking fluids committee chair and ILMA board member. “Her expertise, added to that of the active manufacturer members on the committee, will certainly be an asset to the committee’s focused efforts on regulatory issues impacting our industry.”
