Ingevity to launch new bio-based oilfield products at American Association of Drilling Engineers 2022 Fluids Conference and Exhibition
PRESS RELEASE
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C., April 14, 2022 – Ingevity Corporation (NYSE:NGVT) will launch its new EnvaWet® UHS 3100 wetting agent and its novel EnvaDry™ P-FL dual-functional dry additive for invert emulsion drilling fluids at the American Association of Drilling Engineers (AADE) 2022 Fluids Conference and Exhibition in Houston, Texas, April 19-20, 2022. Alexandria Hernandez, oilfield technical service manager, will present Ingevity’s EnvaWet® UHS 3100 technology, and the team will showcase at the exhibition.
Both derived from pine-based tall oil, these products offer unique performance and sustainability advantages. EnvaWet UHS 3100 helps maintain consistent rheology of fluids containing an exceedingly high volume of solids. The product’s ability to boost emulsion stability and control fluid loss extends the life of the drilling mud, reducing customer investments in time, money and equipment. Ingevity’s dual-functional additive, EnvaDry P-FL, is a 100% active spray-dried technology that improves fluid loss control and provides primary emulsification benefits. EnvaDry P-FL’s multifunctional properties enable the use of less additional additives, and its flowable nature allows for simpler handling processes and easier use in cold climates.
“Our expanded oilfield portfolio addresses environmental industry drivers and provides tailored solutions to meet customer challenges,” said Doris Ospina, senior global business director, oilfield technologies, at Ingevity. “Both products offer significant performance advantages and operational efficiency improvements, all while helping customers achieve their sustainability goals.”
Organized by the American Association of Drilling Engineers, AADE Fluids Conference and Exhibition is the leading forum for the dissemination of practical drilling technology. This conference highlights innovations in drilling applications and hundreds of drilling contractors, equipment and materials suppliers, manufacturers and distributors will be attending.
Hernandez will introduce EnvaWet UHS 3100 on April 20 at 3:30 p.m. CST, and the team will be on-site at booth 301 during the two-day exhibition. To learn more about Ingevity’s oilfield product line and services, visit the company’s website or email [email protected].
