PRESS RELEASE

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC, August 24, 2022 – Ingevity Corporation has received recognition from Best Companies Group on the list of the Best Places to Work in South Carolina in 2022. The award recognizes companies that provide best-in-class employment opportunities and demonstrate a commitment to positive workplace cultures that prioritize employee health, well-being and job satisfaction.

Participating companies are surveyed by independent research company, Best Companies Group, in a two-part process that includes an employer questionnaire about policies and procedures, among other information, as well as an employee survey with eight focus areas including work environment, pay and benefits, leadership and planning and overall engagement. Overall rankings reflect a combination of the questionnaire and the survey data.

“At Ingevity, we are guided by our IngeviWay vision for working together to support an environment of inclusion where all employees are heard, respected and empowered to grow to their fullest potential,” said Ingevity president and CEO, John Fortson. “Investing in the quality of life for our employees at work and in our communities is a top priority, and we are deeply honored that our South Carolina-based employees recommend us a top employer.”

The final rankings of the Best Places to Work in South Carolina were revealed at a reception and dinner held on August 18, 2022, in Columbia, South Carolina.
