Ingevity announces price increase for tall oil fatty acid

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C., March 2, 2017 – Ingevity has announced a price increase for the Altapyne™ tall oil fatty acid (TOFA) line of products. The increase will average approximately $120 per metric ton and is a result of higher demand for fatty acids and their derivatives.
The new price will be effective April 1, 2017, or as contracts allow.
