Meet Eric

I met my wife, Paula, while we were both in graduate school at Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Ga. We eventually moved to Charleston for our jobs at Ingevity. As plant manager, every day is different – with new things to learn and goals to meet.

As Charleston Plant Manager, I lead all aspects of safety, health, and environmental stewardship at the facility. In addition, I serve as the leader for production, supporting the hardworking folks who support our performance chemicals business.

I work with terrific people. We work hard to safely meet the needs of our internal and external customers. The team building aspect of my job is great, and I enjoy helping people succeed. Learning what motivates different people is challenging, but it keeps things interesting!

When I’m not working, I’m usually training for half marathons or triathlons with my friends and family. I’m also a member of the Ingevity Running Club. You’ll always see a group of us running during lunch. Helping improve our community is important to everyone at Ingevity, and I’ve had the privilege to co-chair our annual United Way campaign.
