Last week MWV Specialty Chemicals Division and Majeska & Associates announced the formation of a new business – Invia Pavement Technologies – to deliver pavement solutions to transportation agencies and road builders worldwide (full press release here). Teaming with our customers over the past year, Majeska & Associates has marketed MWV's Evotherm technology with tremendous success. Building on this track record, the primary focus of Invia will be promoting Evotherm to transportation agencies. I'm really excited about what this will mean for our Asphalt Innovations customers, as we continue to deliver best-in-class value and performance.
Based in Tulsa, Okalahoma, Invia Pavement Technologies will work closely with customers to help solve the transportation industry's challenge of effectively growing and maintaining roadway infrastructure with cost-effective, green technologies. With more than half of the sales of Asphalt Innovations products going to markets outside the United States, Invia Pavement Technologies will also assist in the technology transfer of innovative pavement preservation products and advances to global markets.
Things won't change if you are a customer of Asphalt Innovations, except that there should be some exciting new products and advances in the years to come. Evotherm will still be available from MWV and from local asphalt providers and terminals in your area.
