Ingevity’s Shana McCabe, Monica Ford named chairs of the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers’ Cleveland and Chicago sections

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C., Sept. 16, 2016 – Ingevity’s Shana McCabe, global business manager, lubricants and metalworking fluid additives, has been elected to serve on the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers’ (STLE) Cleveland section board as the Educational Chair. Monica Ford, Ph.D., Invevity’s senior surface scientist, lubricants and metalworking fluid additives, has been selected to serve on the STLE’s Chicago section board as the co-chair for the Commercial Marketing Forum.

McCabe and Ford will hold these positions with these STLE sections for the 2016 – 2017 session. In this role, McCabe will be organizing an education seminar, selecting the student to be awarded the STLE Cleveland section scholarship and helping plan various board meetings. Ford, will assist in the organization and execution of the annual Commercial Marketing Forum held by the STLE Chicago section.

At Ingevity, McCabe is focused on creating and executing the global strategy for the lubricants business. She is also author of Ingevity’s Abridged Addition, a monthly newsletter focused on the top five articles affecting the lubricants industry. She has her finger on the pulse of the lubricants industry, which makes her an excellent choice for this role.
