Ingevity employees give more than $2,500 to Easter Seals West Kentucky

WICKLIFFE, Ky., Dec. 5, 2017 – Ingevity employees recently donated $2,751 to Easter Seals West Kentucky in support of those living with autism and other disabilities throughout western Kentucky.

“At Ingevity, our goal is to always be a positive influence in our community,” said Rusty Fondaw, safety, health and environmental manager, Ingevity. “We’re proud of where we live and are passionate about finding ways in which we can give back. Easter Seals is dear to my heart and I’m thankful for the support my coworkers continue to provide to this worthy cause.”

Easter Seals serves children and adults with disabilities and special needs while focusing on inclusive care for all individuals. Funds donated by Ingevity employees will help Easter Seals operate facilities such as the Lily Pad, a facility for medically fragile children. They will also help fund supported employment programs and adult day training as well as speech, occupational and physical therapy sessions for both children and adults.

“We’re truly grateful for the continuous support Ingevity has shown our organization,” shared Hayley Coble, director of marketing and development, Easter Seals West Kentucky. “This donation helps us provide child care programs, job training and other resources to those in our community who need it most.”
